Winter has arrived and it is time to save your cushions. If you do not have time, your trusted boat owner can do it for you, but if not, today we give you some advice so that the upholstery of your boat lasts all winter and you do not find cushions with black spots next spring.
1 – Clean the covers, removing traces of sun cream or products that can damage the material during the winter months.
2 – Once you have the covers dry on the outside, I recommend that you remove the covers.
3 – Store them in a garage or at home. If you have no other option but to store them on board, never put them on top of each other and put some separators between them so that the air circulates and they can dry as much as possible.
We advise you that if you cannot open a cushion because the zipper is aligned, bring it to us and we will change the zipper and you can remove the foam. It will be cheaper to change the zipper now than to buy a new cushion next season.
